Use high quality cables and contacts
General
Low quality cables, damaged cables/contacts can degrade analog video. Analog video signals are notoriously sensitive to bad cabling. Usually the extra cost of high quality cabling is well worth it.

Use 75Ω connectors, gold-plated if possible.
