Glitch in latest Hawk Board SW

Article ID: 30
Last updated: 27 Jul, 2010

Bug:
The latest SW, dated 2010-06-07 contains a bug that in some specific imaging situations causes the video output to appear over-saturated. Typically, parts of the processed image will have strange and very saturated colors.

How to repeat:

1. You must have card with a serial no in one of the following ranges.
36929036 - 36929038
36930001 - 36930020
36930027 - 36930030
2. The LYYN value should be between 2 and 4
3. The effect is typically seen with stationary images and indoor (fluorescent) lighting. We cannot be more specific about what types of imaging situations trigger the bug but it is reproducible.

Short term workaround:

Use non-stationary cameras.

Set the LYYN value to another number.

Use the Hawk board under different lighting conditions.

Long term fix:
New SW will be released in august.
