LYYN launches a new product, the LYYN Griffin, that enables customers to use their analog cameras and distribute the enhanced video via a IP network infrastructure. The product is designed for easy interoperability and is ONVIF compliant.
”This launch is part of out strategy to increase market share in the surveillance market. Our traditional customers use fully analog CCTV systems but the market for hybrid installations is growing fast, where the video signal is distributed via IP network. We can now deliver video enhancement to this market.
Previously, if customers wanted to distribute video via a network they had to install a video encoder themselves after our products. Now we have made it easier for these customers since we have integrated our technology with an ONVIF compliant video encoder into a turnkey plug-n-play product. This new product is an important part of our strategy for growth within the network video market. The field tests we have carried out together with a US customer confirms both the functionality and the application” says Bengt Sahlberg, President. ”First shipments will start in August this year.”
